Abby’s Closet accepts donations year-round. Needed are formal gowns, formal wraps and formal purses. Donations can be taken to one of our business partners listed under “Donation Drop-Off Sites” or mailed to us at PO Box 402, West Linn, OR 97068. All donations are tax deductible.
Donations should be new or gently used, clean and in good condition, fashionable, and appropriate for high school girls (prom, bridesmaid or other special occasion dresses are perfect). If you’re not sure if your donation is appropriate, just ask a high school student for her opinion.
Especially needed are gowns in sizes 0-4 and 16+. If you don’t have a gown to donate, you might consider purchasing and donating a gown in one of these sizes. Or, if you prefer, you can donate cash and let us do the shopping for you.
Note: Please refrain from donating casual clothing, shoes, wedding dresses, jewelry, tuxedos and unclean garments. Any item donated that is not appropriate for a high school girl’s prom may be donated or sold to benefit abby’s closet.
